Two Male Heads - Dolphin Eagle - sharp coin
Very interesting coin from Moesia showing two male heads. The coin is very well preserved, especially the details on the reverse are stunning. Hand set in 18k gold and will come with coin information.
To appreciate its size, the relief of the coin and the shape of the bail, see the picture showing the coin next to a US quarter. The coin was first set in a gold bezel, which was then hammered over the edge of both sides. This was then sanded and polished. This pendant is built to last.
The coin was purchased from a respected German ancient coin dealer.

MOESIA, Istros. Circa 313-280 BC. AR Drachm (17mm, 5.04 g). Facing male heads, the left inverted / Sea-eagle left, grasping dolphin with talons; pellet in center right field, monogram below. Dima Group IV, Subgroup IV, 8; AMNG I 436 var. (two pellets on rev.); HGC 3, 1802. Toned, a few scratches.
